ENHANCED PILLOWSPEAKER
overview
The Enhanced Series of Pillow Speaker models are designed for use with the Responder 5 Nurse Call System and hospital grade digital televisions. A variety of pillow speaker modes are available. The pillow speakers combine in one compact unit: up to two (2) controls for room lighting, a speaker for listening to TV and nurse call audio, and a microphone for the patient to communicate to the Nurse Call System. All models include an easily identified Nurse Call button and TV control button, both embossed in Braille, and three (3) additional nurse call buttons for the patient to indicate a need: "Water", "Pain", or 'Toilet". When the pillow speaker is plugged into the patient station receptacle, nurse call intercom audio is automatically transferred to the pillow speaker while simultaneously muting the TV audio.
